To advance Goal 9, countries must boost investment in resilient infrastructure and research and development, expand access to finance for small manufacturers and bridge the digital divide by prioritizing affordable broadband and innovation systems and promote sustainable practices in the production of goods.

  • Panipat textile hub is sustainable and the most prominent in not just India but also growing to be a sustainable textile hub in Asia. Industrialization of Panipat textile hub is inclusive as it supports the economic growth of the country by providing employment to more than 60,000 weavers and generating annual production value of 950 crore.The production also involves the policy of zero liquid discharge in most of the industries where they remove harmful effluents from the waterand remove solid waste. These industries uses solar energy panels to generate energy sustainably

  • The foundation of the Panipat industries is dependent on 30,955 MSMEs(Micro, Small and Medium enterprises). These local businesses have now spread their roots to the global platforms. The 85% of the total products obtained from recycling are sold to American, European and east-Asian countries.

  • The Panipat industries have shaped themselves in handling huge amount of waste clothing and giving it a new life. the change of the "sustainability" in Panipat has upgraded the resource use efficiency by using 250 tonnes of textile waste and modem power looms which have switched upnthe working of the industry and innovating to do more changes
